Chief Minister Dr. Yadav approves holidays for banks on Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami

The holiday is granted under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, of 1881.

Bhopal : Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has approved a holiday for officers and employees working in the banking sector on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan on August 19 and Shri Krishna Janmashtami on August 26.

The holiday is granted under Section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, of 1881.

It may be noted that the banking organizations had urged Chief Minister Dr. Yadav to declare a holiday on Raksha Bandhan and Shri Krishna Janmashtami for the officers and employees of banks like other employees of the state to celebrate the festivals.
