Modernization of police more important than building roads: Badal
Waking up to the threat posed by terrorists following the attack on Dinanagar police station in Gurdaspur, Punjab chief minister Parkash Singh Badal on Wednesday emphasized the need to give more priority for modernizing police than developmental works like building roads and bridges. "We can wait for some more time for funds for building bridges and roads, but money for modernizing the police force must be released immediately," said Badal while talking to mediapersons here.
SAD calls meeting to finalise for dharna against BSF
